The billet for the hammer was started on August 7, 2020. The final forging of the hammer took place at the Fred Light Museum in North Battleford Saskatchewan on September 13th 2020. A coke forge was setup outside of the blacksmith shop at that site and the day was spent with Chris W. striking on this and another wrought hammer. This hammer now makes it some in Nova Scotia.
