1.75lb cross peen
This was the first wrought iron hammer I forged. it was completed on may 26th 2020 and was forged entirely by hand by myself. Making a wrought body hammer had been a goal for some time and a lot of lessons were learned making this piece. This is without a doubt my favourite cross peen in my shop. Despite being relatively light, the blunt peen moves material efficiently and does not leave the gouges and marks that an off the shelf hammer does. I plan to do several more hammers in this style with varying weights.
